Taking the Odour and Wetness out of Stinky Hockey Feet

Have you ever been riding home from a hockey game, your child beside you dozing off, and you get hit by that terrible smell of… teenager foot? You know, your throat starts to clamp-up and you gag, wondering where the animal has hidden and then died in your vehicle before you realize, no… my child just took their shoes off and now I’m going to pass out from the stink.

Or your child has been walking around barefoot in the locker room again, and comes home with yet another bout of athlete’s foot? For those of you who have experienced it, athlete’s foot isn’t pretty.

Odor-Eaters are here to help with all of that odour and itchy nonsense, and they mean business.

First, I started with Odor-Eaters Odour-Destroying Insoles. Did you know Odor-Eaters has developed insoles to destroy odour and control wetness? These have been perfect to help keep the stink out of winter boots and warm-up running shoes. The insoles are developed as “ultra-comfort” and “ultra-durable.” My son has new winter boots and already they are funky. I can’t tell you how excited he was about the insoles (not even joking). Gleefully, we put in pair of insoles and the smell of his stinky boots virtually disappeared.

Next, I tried Odor-Eaters’ Foot & Sneaker Spray Powder on my son’s feet after a practice. His feet are always sweating, and I want to stay on top of potential athlete’s foot. To destroy any potential odour, I sprayed his feet with the spray powder, and then added the new insoles to his shoes too. Both the spray and insoles help to combat wetness and breeding ground for athlete’s foot. The spray also contains an antifungal ingredient and can be used for both treatment and prevention; you can be sure we will be using it as a preventative measure from here on in.

Finally, we tried out the Odor-Eaters Foot Powder. The foot powder is designed to provide advanced odour and wetness protection. My son put this on immediately after his shower and loved how it made his feet dry and odour free. Smooth as silk. This powder absorbs sweat to keep feet fresh and dry all day. Something I appreciate, and I’m sure his teachers, friends and teammates appreciate too.

I’ll admit, before trying Odor-Eaters insoles, spray and powder I wasn’t aware of the range and versatility of the products available. I know from now on I’m going to have a stash of all three on hand, and I’ll be using the spray regularly to keep on top of stinky feet between games and practices.

If you’re looking to combat foot odour and wetness this hockey season, check out the line of Odor-Eaters products, available in drug stores, supermarkets and mass merchandisers nationwide.
