With the start of the new hockey season less than two weeks away, I was invited to the 2013 NHL Face-Off season opener on Tuesday, October 1st, hosted at the iconic former Maple Leaf Gardens, courtesy of Scotiabank and the ScotiaHockey NHL VISA card.
So what happens at a ScotiaHockey NHL viewing party? I’m going to be watching the Toronto Maple Leafs battle it out with their classic rivals – the Montreal Canadiens – while munching on gourmet game fare, and have the chance to win some exciting prizes throughout the night while rubbing elbows with top-notch NHL Alumni, like Darryl Sittler, Curtis Joseph and Johnny Bower.
Even better? They offered me five tickets to the private viewing party to give away to readers. That’s where you come in! Tell me why you want to join me at the Viewing Party and you could get in on the action. I will be giving away one set of two tickets and one set of three tickets to the game. To qualify for the giveaway, you need to:
1) Share the Facebook post with a Hockey Mom you know, and
2) Enter the giveaway and tell me why you want to join me HERE.
I will be randomly selecting two people to receive the tickets on Thursday, September 26, 2013, and they will be announced on the Facebook Page and contacted by email.
So enter the Scotiabank and ScotiaHockey NHL VISA Card giveaway, and maybe I’ll see you at the game!
Until then, Happy Hockey!
Because I am Canadian!!! What Canadian doesn’t want to attend their home opener????
My 7 year old son would absolutely LOVE to see this game….it would be a dream come true for him 🙂 Being that he’s a HUGE hockey fan. Has been playing hockey here on PEI since August and will continue to do so until end of MAy next year. So this Hockey Mom would love to have a mini break with my son to spend some quality and enjoyable time if we were to have these tickets to this game 🙂
Hockey moms all the way
After years of growing up as the only daughter with 6 brothers and being forced to watch the Toronto Maplel Leafs, my son who is now 6 had no option but to be a Leaf fan. Until we move into a neighborhood where he is surrounded by Montreal Canadian fans. He is now giving away all of his Leafs paraphernalia and starting a Habs collection. This would be a perfect game to win him back!!
I would love to take in a live game…… just to see what it would be like. Thanks 🙂
My son turns 10 on October 1st. We would LOVE to surprise him and bring him to celebrate his big day! He’s never been to an NHL game – wouldn’t this be a memorable birthday!!!
