Do you have your winter tires?

Hockey Moms, do you have your winter tires?

Over the past month, we have had a lot of winter weather in my neck of the woods. It has meant a fair amount of driving to and from hockey games on snow and slush covered roads, slipping around in arena parking lots, and crossing my fingers that we can get up the hill and into my driveway in winter weather.

Hockey Moms do a tonne of driving in winter weather. And, to keep our families safe, we need to have winter tires.

Over the past few months we’ve been working with Goodyear and talking about the Goodyear Ultra Grip Winter Tires. I’ve been driving with a set (which, by the way, are truly amazing. They literally chew up the snow and provide unparalleled traction on winter roads, in my opinion). On behalf of Goodyear, I also got to attend the ILR Advanced Car Control School, where I learned all of the things I’ve been doing wrong while driving, and picked up some invaluable tips to help me to get my family to and from the rink safely. And, we had a fantastic Facebook chat with Carol Niedermayer, and with Goodyear tire experts.

On top of all of that, we have been doing giveaways for sets of tires! And I’m pleased to announce today Giveaway #5! ENTER HERE for a chance to win a set of Goodyear Ultra Grip Winter Tires! This is your last chance to win a set, and it’s super easy to enter!

Driving is not something we can take lightly, especially in winter weather. I hope you  have had a chance to learn from our Goodyear Winter Weather Driving Tips at www.CanadianHockeyMoms.ca.

For more helpful car care advice or information on tires for cars, light trucks, SUVs and more, visit your local Goodyear retailer or go online to www.goodyear.ca.
