Vietnamese Crockpot Chicken

  • 3lbs of chicken (skinless boneless thighs are my fav but orig. receipe calls for breasts)
  • 4 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 5 cloves crused garlic
  • 2 tablespoon canola oil
  • 2 cups water

Combine all ingredients except chicken in a small bowl. Place chicken in the slow cooker. Pour sauce over chicken. Cook on low for at least 5 hours

Serve with steamed broccoli and Jasmine rice.

This serves 5 and there are never any leftovers!
